QA copilot for production-floor defect analysis.
A QA assistant supports technicians when defects are logged by comparing new issues with historical reports, surfacing likely causes and suggesting next checks.
What we built
We built a quality-assurance copilot for technicians on the production floor. When a defect is logged, the assistant compares it with the plant’s historical defect reports and maintenance notes, surfaces the most likely causes, and suggests which checks to run next.
The copilot does not sign off on anything by itself. Technicians stay in charge of the diagnosis; the assistant removes the slow part — searching old reports and remembering what fixed a similar issue last time — so the root cause is found sooner.
How the workflow runs
Each step runs automatically, and a person stays in control wherever judgment is needed.
- 01Defect logging with structured fields
- 02Similarity search across historical defect reports
- 03Likely-cause ranking with supporting evidence
- 04Suggested next checks for the technician
- 05Technician confirmation and feedback loop
Technicians reached the root cause of logged defects 3.4 times faster, with every suggestion traceable to the historical reports behind it. Each confirmed diagnosis is fed back into the knowledge base, so the copilot improves as the plant uses it.
Have a process that looks like this?
We map it end-to-end in a 2–4 hour audit and show you what it’s worth in hours saved, before you commit to a build.
